Collections: Archived, 2016
This series, comprised of over 170 square photographs archiving my many personal collections, was created as the Thesis to my undergraduate degree at Willamette University. I was interested in highlighting the individuality of each object—the textures, shapes, and often silliness—and sharing that with those in whom these have no meaning.
The full collection was shown at the Hallie Ford Museum of Art in Salem, Oregon in April-May 2016. A smaller selection was shown at Blackfish Gallery in Portland, Oregon in July 2016. The Bouncy Ball collection was purchased by the Willamette University Science Department to be displayed in their building.
